  • 28 Steps

About

This course introduces the principles of construction project management, equipping learners with the foundational knowledge required to lead and manage housing construction projects across Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN). Case studies relevant to NAN communities and insights from NAN housing experts provide grounded examples to help learners better understand the construction process and begin to apply project management principles such as scheduling, risk assessment, and monitoring to their own practice and communities. The course is divided into 5 sections and 22 video modules. Upon successful completion of all 22 course modules and 4 quizzes, learners will be eligible to receive a certificate of achievement. The course and certificate are issued in partnership between Nishnawbe Aski Nation, Together Design Lab, Wahsa Distance Education Centre, and the Faculty of Community Services and Toronto Metropolitan University.
