NAN Housing Courses
NAN has recently launched two Housing Courses that support the NAN Housing Strategy's theme of Capacity Development and Training. The two courses, Introduction to Construction Project Management for Housing in NAN Communities and Introduction to Tendering and Procurement for Housing in NAN Communities, are structured as asynchronous distance learning courses with a series of video modules and quizzes. Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate of achievement.

First Nation National Building Officers Association
The FNNBOA represents people in First Nation communities who provide residential, commercial and institutional construction and renovation technical services. This includes plans review, inspections, recommending repairs, technical advocacy and advisory services assisting on reserve construction.

First Nation Housing Professionals Association
The First Nations Housing Professionals Association (FNHPA) is a national, professional association exclusively serving the needs of individuals working for or aspiring to positions in housing with First Nations organizations.

FNHPA is the only Canada-wide centre for professional standards, certification and other services for existing and future First Nations housing professionals.

FNHPA supports existing and future housing professionals in serving their communities by:

Providing education and certification programs

Encouraging communication and knowledge-sharing

Offering real, personal support and availability to First Nations housing professionals in Canada

FNHPA also develops, manages, and supports programs that drive the goals of First Nations housing departments forward. These include their sponsorship, upskilling and Matrimonial Real Property programs.
