  • 32 Steps

About

This course introduces key steps in the process of tendering and procurement, equipping learners with the foundational knowledge required to lead or support tendering and procurement processes for housing construction in Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN). Case studies relevant to NAN communities and insights from NAN housing experts provide grounded examples to help students better understand common risks, approaches to monitoring, and common steps in tendering and procurement processes in the North. The course is divided into 6 sections and 28 video modules. Upon successful completion of all 28 course modules and 5 quizzes, learners will be eligible to receive a certificate of achievement. The course and certificate are issued in partnership between Nishnawbe Aski Nation, Together Design Lab, Wahsa Distance Education Centre, and the Faculty of Community Services and Toronto Metropolitan University.
